BMS World Mission has appointed a new Link Up Administrator – the essential contact for connecting UK Baptist churches with BMS overseas mission workers.
Geneve Sutton-Pryce has replaced Mandy Pickering, who moves on after five years in the role.
Geneve was born in Zimbabwe where she lived for 13 years before coming to the UK. She studied at the University of East Anglia and lived and worked in Nottingham before beginning at BMS this month.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know everybody”, says Geneve. “Link Up is a really great way for churches to connect with world mission and I hope to be able to continue the work that Mandy has done in making that possible.”
Mandy is leaving the UK behind for the sunnier climes of South Africa, where she has spent much of her life. She and her husband Mark will be there for the foreseeable future, and Mandy hopes to get involved with projects which help women at risk.
