Pray for Brazil (22-28 January)

Since the 1950s BMS has worked alongside the Brazilian Baptist Convention in rural and urban contexts throughout the country, majoring on church planting, theological education and human development.

This Baptist Convention has become one of the largest in the
world. As we reduce our presence this year, pray that we will
continue to have a strategic ministry impact.

Pray for:

• Rosimar and Tim Deller (and Richard) seeking God’s guidance for a possible change in ministry and location.
• Daveen and Mike Wilson (and Julia) – that the Trapiá church would catch the vision for sending out workers.
• John and Maria Dyer who are retiring after many years of fruitful ministry throughout Brazil.
• Julia Stanbrook and Ethan who, as a newly-married couple, are moving to the UK for training before continuing with BMS outside Brazil.
• BMS supported partner worker Pastor Frank and his prison ministry in the north-eastern state of Maranhão.
• Mark and Suzana Greenwood to bless others through their work in developing social action with the Brazilian Baptist Convention.
• BMS partners: Abiah (co-ordinating PEPEs), the Brazilian Baptist Convention, and several state conventions.
