Pray for Afghanistan (15-21 May)

Believers in Afghanistan are experiencing tough times at the moment. There has been an increase in persecution from the state and many have either fled or gone into hiding.

Please pray for our workers in Afghanistan as they try to
support local Christians there and show the love of Christ.

Pray for:

• Afghan Christians who live in fear of threats and violence from state and family.
• The leadership team of our partner there; that they will hear God’s voice as far as what new work they should be involved in.
• The development of the medical work that helps rural poor in this war-torn country.
• Our partner in Afghanistan, which desperately needs teachers to teach the children of missionaries there.
• Team members as they try to live out their faith and show Christ’s love to colleagues and neighbours.
• The ongoing security of our workers as recently there has been an increase in violence towards Westerners.
• More people from UK churches to respond to the call to go and work in Afghanistan.
