Ann is doing pastoral work in the haematology department of the Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India, and at the Ida Scudder School in Vellore where she is available to listen to young people and their families talking about their problems.

 

She retired in November 2008 but both the school and the hospital asked her to return and she was successful in getting a visa to enable her to do this in a voluntary capacity. Ann has been with BMS in India for over 40 years.

 

Ann enjoys classical music and playing the flute. She reads (mainly non-fiction) and walking and being in the countryside are among her other interests.

 

Her home church is in Beckenham, Kent.
