Solid foundationsWe praise God for everything that he has done for us in the PEPE de la Peninsula, Piura. As a result of a gift we received, we have been able to change the matting walls of the classroom for plywood and also put down a concrete floor – getting the children off the sand.
Meeting JesusEvery Monday afternoon we hold a meeting with some of the children’s mothers. Around 15 come each week and, last week, two accepted Jesus as their saviour. On Tuesdays, we hold a meeting after the PEPE class, with our children and their friends – around 35 come to this. Last Saturday, we held a service with the parents of 22 of the 25 children that attend the PEPE – five of the parents accepted Jesus!
Food for thoughtWe continue to offer a lunch every day and can see that it is this love, shown in action, that has made the difference in our work. The parents are grateful and when we invite them to services and meetings, they come. A couple that accepted Jesus last year got married last month. We praise God for all his wonderful works and for the opportunity we have to serve in his work. God bless you and may he continue to prosper his work amongst the little children of Peru.
